The NUL Preservation Department : half a century of continued conservation of library heritage

Over the past fifty years since the introduction of conservation services at the National and University Library in Zagreb, the Library’s conservators and restorers have greatly contributed to the preservation of library heritage and long-term availability of its intellectual content. Dragica Krstić, Ph.D., Head of the NUL Preservation Department gives an overview of the history of this and related NUL departments and sections.
