Shorter opening hours of NSK extended hours services

Objavljeno 30.10.2020.

Starting from 2 November 2020 and owing to the latest developments related to the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic, the National and University Library in Zagreb is introducing shorter opening hours for its extended hours services.

Users interested in the late hours study facilities, which will be available between 21.00 and 22.00 in the reading room on the Library’s Ground Floor, have to apply for using the service by registering online, emailing the Library’s Information Centre, contacting the Centre on (0)1 6164 002, or in person, at the Centre’s info desk.

The number of users of the Library’s extended hours services will continue to be limited to 65. The users will have their body temperature taken with non-contact IR thermometers and only those with a temperature of not higher than 37.2 °C (98.96 °F) will be allowed to enter the Library’s late hours study area.

Once the users leave the extended hours services area, they will not be able to re-enter it, so they have to take with them all of their belongings when exiting to the Library’s lobby.

The users are required to wear protective face masks, stay within specially marked user areas, abide by the social-distancing measures and behave in compliance with all other measures to combat the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic pertaining to the Library’s current limited operating regime.

All users should closely follow the Library’s website and its profiles on social networks for all notifications regarding changes in the terms of use of the Library’s services related to anti-COVID-19 measures.
