The early registration fee is available until 4 September 2023 for €70, while the registration fee between 5 and 29 September 2023 is €70 (VAT excluded from both fees). Applying for transport by bus from Zagreb to Dubrovnik and back from Dubrovnik to Zagreb is possible as part of the online registration process. Full-time LIS students and the persons accompanying them may attend the conference free of charge.

The fees include admission to all sessions, all conference materials, a welcome reception and mid-session refreshments, conference dinner (on 12 October 2023) and a guided tour of Dubrovnik (on 14 October 2023).

The purpose of this year’s conference programme is to address issues related to alternative funding sources, including the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) 2021-2027 programme, aimed at the implementation of UN Agenda 2030 and its sustainable development goals (SDGs) and the development of libraries in this context as places of social and digital inclusion, as well as the funding opportunities available to libraries for organising various lifelong learning programmes as part of ERASMUS+. Particularly highlighting green and digital transition, the programme will focus on the importance of libraries making their contribution to attaining sustainable development by incorporating sustainable development principles into their action plans and strategic documents.

The co-organisers of the Conference are the Public Libraries Section of the Croatian Library Association and the conference hosts Dubrovnik Public Library and the Dubrovnik Library Association, with the National and University Library in Ljubljana, Slovenian Library Association and Slovenian Public Libraries Association (Združenje splošnih knjižnic) acting as partners.
