Registration open and bursaries available for IFLA CPDWL Satellite Meeting and preconference announcing IFLA WLIC 2019
Registration is now open until 31 July 2019 for IFLA CPDWL Satellite Meeting 2019, a special meeting of the Continuing Professional Development and Workplace Learning Section (CPDWL) operating as part of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), which the National and University Library in Zagreb will be hosting on 20 and 21 August 2019. The meeting, which will announce this year’s IFLA World Library and Information Congress, IFLA WLIC 2019, will be held under the theme Librarians and information professionals as (pro)motors of change: immersing, including and initiating digital transformation for smart societies. Up to 15 bursaries of EUR 600 for sponsoring conference participation are offered, so LIS students, LIS professionals, members of national library associations or IFLA are invited to apply.
IFLA CPDWL Satellite Meeting 2019 is organised by the Federation’s Continuing Professional Development and Workplace Learning Section (IFLA CPDWL) in cooperation with the Croatian Library Association, National and University Library in Zagreb and the Zagreb City Libraries network of public libraries.
All interested in attending the conference may register using an online form. There is no registration fee and the number of participants is limited to 120.
