Presentation of Croatian Resource Description and Access Code for Libraries, Archives and Museums
On 29 September 2021, the National and University Library in Zagreb is hosting the presentation of recently published Croatian Resource Description and Access Code for Libraries, Archives and Museums (Pravilnik za opis i pristup građi u knjižnicama, arhivima i muzejima).
Co-published online by the National and University Library in Zagreb, Croatian State Archives and Museum Documentation Center in June 2021, the code lays down description and access standards for resources held by heritage institutions in Croatia, for the purpose of enabling Croatian libraries, archives and museums to take a coordinated approach in comprehensively presenting Croatian national heritage, especially in the digital environment.
The code was devised as a result of the 2014-2019 project supported by the Croatian Ministry of Culture and Media and run through cooperation between several heritage institutions, one professional association and the representatives of three university departments/sections in the field of information and communication sciences (Izrada, objavljivanje i održavanje nacionalnog pravilnika za katalogizaciju).
