New terms of use as part of measures to combat COVID-19

The National and University Library in Zagreb is inviting all its users to closely follow the Library’s official website and its profile on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn for all notifications regarding changes in the terms of use of the Library’s services occasioned by the introduction of measures to combat the spread of COVID-19.

According to the new terms of use introduced on 16 March 2020, the National and University Library in Zagreb is limiting the number of users in the Library’s building to that enabling them to work at a safe distance from each other, which implies that the number of users allowed to enter the building is based on the assessment on the part of the Library’s staff of whether it enables the avoiding of closer than safe social contact. Also, the Library has extended all loan periods until 31 March 2020 and for the time being discontinued its late hours study services.

All users of individual study rooms should contact the Library’s User Services Department for all arrangements in this context in case the Library closes down for users.

The Library is urging its users to comply with all the instructions issued by the authorised national bodies and accordingly frequently sanitise their hands by making use of the disinfectant placed at their disposal in all user areas and avoid using lifts with more than two persons already inside.
