Members of delegation of French President visit NSK
On 25 November 2021, accompanying the Director of the French Institute in Croatia Estelle Halimi-Dagron as the members of the delegation of the French President Emmanuel Macron during his two-day visit to Croatia, a member of the National Assembly in France Liliana Tanguy and member of the French Senate Jean-Yves Leconte visited the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK).
Ms Tanguy, Ms Halimi-Dagron and Mr Leconte met with the Director General of the National and University Library in Zagreb Dr Ivanka Stričević, NSK International Cooperation Adviser Jasenka Zajec, Senior Public Relations Adviser at the NSK Marketing and Communications Section Nela Marasović and member of the NSK Information Centre Maja Mihalić. They also visited the Library’s Manuscripts and Old Books Collection, where the Head of the Collection Dr Irena Galić Bešker presented selected original volumes of Encyclopédie, Ou Dictionnaire Raisonné Des Sciences, Des Arts Et Des Métiers which the Library received from the Institute in August and November 2021 for the purpose of ensuring their adequate storage, protection and if necessary restoration.
