Free membership of NSK available to Ukrainian refugees
Starting from 23 March 2022, the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) will be making available its services free of charge to Ukrainians fleeing the war that has been ravaging their homeland since February 2022. Joining the international library community in its efforts worldwide to provide support for the Ukrainian people and thus express the spirit of solidarity, the Library will be offering membership to Ukrainian refugees aged 16 years and over, based on documentation proving their status. All obligations with regard to the Library of Ukrainian refugees under the age of 18 wishing to gain membership of the Library are to be taken on by their parents, foster parents or legal guardians, which circumstance has to be formalised through a related declaration of consent.
The Library recently published three special bibliographies bringing together titles in the Library’s collections published in Ukraine (Bibliografija građe objavljene u Ukrajini u fondu NSK), titles in the Ukrainian language (Bibliografija građe na ukrajinskom jeziku u fondu NSK) and titles which are the translations of works originally in Ukrainian into other languages, including English (Bibliografija građe prevedene s ukrajinskog jezika u fondu NSK).
