D-fest 2023: Registration open for Twelfth Festival of Croatian Digitisation Projects
Registration is now open for the Twelfth Festival of Croatian Digitisation Projects, the 2023 edition of the annual gathering of the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) spotlighting the digitisation of cultural and scientific heritage, which the Library will host on 4 and 5 May.
The Festival this year will again bring together a significant number of professionals working on the digitisation of cultural heritage and development of digital heritage collections who will present their activities in the past year and share their insights through the presentation of the results of national and international digitisation projects. Apart from presenting the latest developments in e-Culture, currently the largest national digitisation project in Croatia, the Festival will also highlight issues related to the development of digital products and services, digital storytelling, projects focusing on the ways to widen the audience for digital heritage and those supporting various citizen science-oriented initiatives. It will also address 3D digitisation of cultural heritage and the use of artificial intelligence in managing digital heritage.
The participants in D-fest 2023 will also have an opportunity to learn more about the digitisation of publicly inaccessible heritage, newspapers, music, photographs, negatives, postcards and other types of material, and about various digitisation projects aimed at the presentation of local heritage.
Preliminary programme (Croatian version only).
