Starting from 25 May 2020, as part of normalising its activity in line with the phased easing of the measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic and based on the decision of the Civil Protection Headquarters of the Republic of Croatia reached on 18 May 2020, the National and University Library in Zagreb is reopening its reading rooms, under a limited operating regime.
The Library will close every day from 13.30 to 14.30 for the purpose of the disinfection of its premises.
Users have to comply with all the recommendations issued by the Croatian Institute of Public Health and accordingly use protective masks and frequently sanitise their hands, for which purpose a disinfectant will be made available at the entrance to and other parts of all user areas. In relation to the same measures, lifts are to be used by not more than two persons at the same time.
