The users of the National and University Library in Zagreb, along with the rest of the general public, have recently been offered a new service as part of the Library’s Web 2.0 social software. It is a blog, a popular type of online publication, whose origins date back to 1994. Then, according to Wikipedia, several authors kept their diaries posting them online on the Open Pages web-ring and thus laid the foundations for a phenomenon which soon became an inevitable fact in the world of virtual communication.
