Where to request materials from other libraries?

Interlibrary loan service is intended for users who need various materials (books and copies) from other libraries in Croatia or from abroad. Interlibrary loan service is directly available to all users of the Library, while the members of other libraries in Croatia may use them through their local libraries. Users must request interlibrary loans using special forms and make their order in person, by fax or email. The loan period for items from libraries located abroad is from two to four weeks, while for items requested from the NUL the loan period is four weeks. Users may generally access materials requested as part of interlibrary loan services in the Library, while the copies of articles remain the users’ permanent ownership.

Library which put in a specific request takes responsibility for the return of loan items. They may be used only for personal and private purposes in accordance with Copyright and Related Rights Act (Official Gazette, 167 (2003), Article 82). These services are charged according to the prices of interlibrary loan services stipulated in the NUL’s official List of Priced Services.

Interlibrary Loan Desk is located on the Ground Floor.

Interlibrary loan services are available from Monday to Friday between 8.00 and 18.00.
