The library provides various bibliographic-reference and catalogue information and the users may easily find out whether specific materials– books or journals – are part of the library’s holdings and get acquainted with details such as the call numbers of specific items as well as whether they are available for use and/or loan.
Users may find all these information on the library’s website, using the NUL Online Catalogue or Scanned Alphabetical Card Catalogue.
The members of the library’s Central Reference Service will willingly provide their assistance for all users with regard to their search for and use of various information resources.
Information and reference services include the verification of bibliographic sources, the providing of assistance with the search of the library’s catalogues and secondary sources (bibliographies, guides) as well as with the compiling of lists of bibliographic records related to specific subject areas, subject and retrospective searches and various types of instruction.
Users may find the Central Reference Service next to the general Reference Collection in the central area of the library’s Ground Floor.
