2015 Open Door Days at the National and University Library in Zagreb

The National and University Library in Zagreb Day, which will this year be marked on 23 February, will be accompanied by the Library’s traditional annual programme, NUL Open Door Days.

This year’s NUL Open Door Days programme will be held on 24 and 26 February 2015, during which period everyone interested in the Library’s activities, collections and services will be given the opportunity to take a guided tour of the Library. The tours will be organised at 10.00, 13.00 and 16.00 and include a visit to the Library’s special collections holding the most valuable Library’s treasures such as old Croatian books and manuscripts, rare maps, prints and sheet music. Everyone interested in taking this special tour has to register in advance so that the members of the Library’s User Services Department can arrange the visit at available times.

The Library has also prepared a presentation of an anthology of contemporary Croatian poetry in the Italian language, lecture on cartography and a concert by students from the Academy of Music of the University of Zagreb.
